Yes, I am perfectly aware that this picture suggests that I am the dummy. And I think I am. No...computer problems not fixed yet. My husband will now be taking the awful thing to a friend who can "fix" anything wrong with computers. I hope he announces it DOA and I can get a new one. FAT CHANCE. Oh well.
Nope, not frustrated one bit. ARGH!
Special thanks to everyone who is helping to pick up my slack, even Beulah Mae. I guess something is better than nothing, right? Right?! :)

Don't you throw that at me, young lady :)
Posted by: William Teach at July 22, 2005 01:10 PMPS: On a different note, if you just need a good laptop, nothing super duper special, check out Averatec. I bought a laptop last summer, have had it over a year, works great. If I want to do high end gaming or something, I use my desktop, but, most of the time, the laptop has MORE then enough juice for anything. And well under a grand.
Posted by: William Teach at July 22, 2005 01:13 PMEveryone's got one of those "friends".
Unfortunately, that's me in my neighborhood/workplace.
Posted by: Baklav a at July 22, 2005 06:10 PMI feel like that picture way too often.
Posted by: jay at July 22, 2005 08:27 PMHey Jody! I hope it's fixable...but if not, we've got a 'puter going on sale this weekend for something ridiculous...it was either $299 or $399 (I just don't pay enough attention at those rally meetings!)...and that included the monitor and printer. Or, as Teach said...laptop! I got mine at Circuit City for $669...it's not much for gaming, etc, but to lay in bed and blog it's great!
Miss you!
